The Blackfriars sounds good to me!

Is this the one: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ?

That's me sorted then!

This pub sounds also very good to me. The menu and the selection of ales seems to be very tasty.

Hi Col........... fully understand the way your coming from, but this is impossible for this tour. Trousers will be able to explain why better than I ever could.

I'm sure that this will be something we will try again........

Martin and I will discuss this and a host of things relating to Coast on our road trip up to scotland

Just looking through Oban pages and this pub came up - doesn't actually say whether they do food in the evening and it doesn't seem to be too far from Skipinnish.

I am led to believe that there is an eating place below the Ceilidh House. If I remember what I was told, it is run by an Italian family....I suspect it will just be a restaurant and not a licensed bar.

I think it's called McT's. Only time I've been to Skipinnish Ceilidh House I went to one of the scottish music shows (very much for the tourists....) and I got a discount on a meal there. The food was delicious!
