Re: Highs and Lows
Hi tiz,
I understand why you feel the thread should be deleted, but if that were to happen all the historic 'positive' posts would be lost too and, I guess, in a roundabout way the person who tried to kill the thread would get some kind of hollow 'victory' out of it.
If there are posts in there which are inaccurrate, lies, slanderous or malicious (etc) then whoever they are aimed at can rightly request that those posts are either deleted or edited either at the time or in retrospect.
Anyway, on to more important matters...did you ever get round to sorting out your lgstics for Inverness or all lines of enquiry exhausted? Won't be the same without you!
Cheers,
martin

Its exhausted mate. I have looked at oban and melrose as well. My options are limited due to shift patterns and logistics. I had a good look. Gutted to be honest. Feeling a bit low seems life is just whizzing by with purpose reason or fun. Sorry dont want to seem negative lol. I will snap out of it soon I am sure.

Re: Highs and Lows
Spuddie has decided to give up all forms of takeaway (exluding sandwiches, healthy chicken wraps, soups etc) for lent. A pizza, chinese, indian, kebab, burger, chip or anything else greasy will not pass my lips for 40 days and 40 nights. The money I would normally spend on this rubbish will be donated to The Salvation Army for their continuing work across the world and at home.
Sponsorship donations are very much welcome. I will be giving my money to the local SA, but you can donate online if you wish [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Re: Highs and Lows
I need next weekend to hurry up because I am currently being a bad mood bear today!! There are some health issues with my eldest and his confidence has taken a major knock. My older sister is being a true b.i.t.c.h. and is winding me up something rotten. There is currently more month than money! Work is annoying me and I have an assignment to finish for college and I just can't get my wee head round it at all!!
On the upside I have the gig at Hoots to look forward to, and apparently it's free to get in!! A group of my old school friends are coming along to, including one who is home from Australia just now. She has listened to the band and likes what she hears!! I am looking forward to meeting the rest of you. I have met Jinty and Spud before but the rest of you should know, that I am a very quiet and shy wee lassie from the Highlands!!!

My older sister is a constant Bitch and drives me up the bloody wall. Get your Bach Flower Rescue Remedy out and it will soon ease some of the stress and anxiety.
You sound about as shy and retiring as me!
big hugs to you

Re: Highs and Lows
Well, we have woken up to quite simple the most beautiful morning. There is a hard frost but we are very much under big, blue skies and the mountains are white and blue. I think a jaunt somewhere bonny and quiet is on the cards!!
I am really excited about next weekend, a few of my FB friends that live nearby are planning coming along too, so it's going to be a good night.
My son is in much better form and things looked quite bright when we were at the doctor.
And for those who haven't met me, the rest are lying!! I am shy!!

Re: Highs and Lows
You're no shy at all Linda!
Highs - not long to the tour now!
Lows - couldn't practise my set this afternoon due to an aquatic crisis. I cleaned out the external power filter for my fish tank and when I put it all back together there was a tiny leak at the seal. After an hour or so of freaking out at how much it would cost for a new one and trying to come up with a plan, I came to the conclusion I hadn't put it together right. So I re-assembled it and now everything is fine. The Huggan house hold was almost a flood plain!
