COAST SUPPORTING RUNRIG
Hi Coasters!!
We have spoken to Calum from Runrig today and he wants to put coast forward for supporting Runrig at southampton!!!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
Coast needs you all to email/phone/ bombard the Runrig office with the request that coast support Runrig when they are in Southampton UK next! They do have a lot of acts to choose from but if it shows that coast have loyal fans as well as Runrig then they would be willing to get us on stage.
The quicker we get on the circuit, the quicker we can get to your countries and play live shows!!!
SO COME ON WHATS AN EMAIL????
WE WANT COAST WITH RUNRIG IN SOUTHAMPTON NOW!!!!!!
here are the email links..

Re: COAST SUPPORTING RUNRIG
Will send off an email pronto in the morning (I did email the Runrig office earlier in the year when I first heard about the band, Paul.....didn't hear anything back though....but worth another crack!)
p.s. does this mean Runrig are definitely going to do the South Coast next year? Not sure why they 'missed out' the south coast this year.....

Will ask some friends and even some older pupils to email the RR office. I am sure the RR fans woul d leave the concert with a big smile on their faces and not only because of RR. I hope you'll get the chance to show what great music Coast writes and plays.

Hmmm....I have noticed more and more bands using solo acts as support these days - more so than, say, 10 years ago.
I always feel I'm getting more 'value for money' when I see a full band support act.....I did suspect that it came down to logistics and/or finances at the end of the day but established bands, such as Runrig, need to remember that they started out as a full band support acts too!
