Re: THE NEXT BIG LIVE SHOW!!!
I agree Angela, York is a cracking venue. I believe that, in York, you are allowed to shoot arrows at Scotsmen after midnight, but not on a Sunday. My other half is threatening to come to a Coast gig and this would be ideal for her.

Re: THE NEXT BIG LIVE SHOW!!!
The gig, not the shooting arrows thing I meant for the other half. Much as she would like to!!!

Re: THE NEXT BIG LIVE SHOW!!!
Sadly, because of many reasons, I am unable to travel too far to go see any band. For those who are able to travel I would say York would be a pretty decent place. It is easy to get to by train from Scotland or south England.
If I could be really selfish, could you come up to Inverness?? Maybe the 27th February????

Would love Coast to play at the Arundel Festival in the castle grounds.
In 2008 we saw the Levellers and seth Lakeman play there and it was fantastic
Runrig with Coast supporting in 2010 would be a dream ticket

If you decide to come to York, send me some promotional stuff and I can push it on the Student Union at York St John.

Re: THE NEXT BIG LIVE SHOW!!!
Come to Reading - as Trousers says, it's not too far for you to travel.
Suggested venues - The Hexagon or South Street - both council run venues
RISC London Street
A pub at the bottom of Southampton Street has live music evenings - i think it's called the Red Cow

Re: THE NEXT BIG LIVE SHOW!!!
Another idea for the Summer perhaps. Hebden Bridge is 500 years old this year, and is a music hot bed for live acts. It's a very nice town too. We usually go and camp at Todmordon Cricket Club and get taxis in to the town.
Keep an eye on the net for what is happening. Likewise, if I hear anything from Denny (a musician I know) I will keep you posted.

Definately Fibbers in York. Maybe The Fishpond in Matlock Bath would be worth a visit too? I can go in and give them a shout if need be.

Re: THE NEXT BIG LIVE SHOW!!!
I'd like something in Newcastle but York is an easy enough train trip for me (although it would be a stay over night as I'm not sure when the last train is and I'm too much of a big girls blouse to drive!)

I think a Celtic raid on viking land in York is in order. York is a great place and the beer is exceptional.

Re: THE NEXT BIG LIVE SHOW!!!
It's looking pretty sh***y around here at the moment. How about doing York at the same time as Celty's York meet? That way, you may get some victims forcefully attenting-haha!
