The Swan 23/01/10
Well so glad that I went to last nights gig, even if I am shattered today.
It was pretty packed last night and the atmosphere was buzzing.
With a new mixing desk giving them a tighter sound they rocked the place.
New songs We Made It and The Sword Dance now fully sound complete, they are going to be stand out tracks on the next album.
The Reckless Engineer again with the extended ending was a big stand out
Got my winter erosion t-shirt which has this morning gone into the wash already....

re the swan
Hi Dave,I'm glad you made it too it was good to see you and Angela.what a cracking night, thoroughly enjoyed it however some of the dancers were a bit suspect i thought.Needles to say the folk i brought down this time to see the lads were well impressed, two more new fans, excellent!I'm guessing from what i can glean off face book that the Celtic Connections went well which is superb, bit of a landmark weekend really what with all that and the radio Solent gig too I'm sure it was worth all their effort.A mention too to Sharon and Martin, those who also serve but never really get the public credit for their efforts that they perhaps should, well done guys!Roll on Scotland!!

A great summing up Dave.....
Myself and Lee Marchant along with my son had a blinding evening, I think 'The Sword Dance' is something special and hats of again to Chris for some amazing guitar work.
As I have posted almost everywhere my larynx took a battering belting out America and in particular 'COLOURS' which really got Lee and my son singing...
My Winter Erossion t-shirt has been washed and ironed after its first outing and is eager to be worn again....hopefully at all three if not it will be at Melrose on full display!!!

Was good to meet you at last 'St David' And Saintlee and your son too (sorry, have forgotten his name already!). Your mission if you choose to accept it is to get Colours played before games at SMS....I think your son said he was going to have a word with someone he knows who works there? cheers!
