Newsletter updates etc

Hi Guys

In the last two weeks I've sent a couple of newsletters with some basic Coast news/updates.
Angela said she didn't get her's, so she checked her profile infomation and she had the newsletter info set as "No", this has now been changed so she can received these newsletters.

If you want to receive this updates can you please change your profile to Yes to receive newsletters. If you want me to do it for you please drop me a PM and I will amend it for you.

David, I got only today an e-mail from you. I didn't get any others in the last weeks.
My box "receive newsletters" is YES.

Well glad to hear you got today's, don't know why you didn't get the first one.....but dont worry there was nothing important in it....more of a welcome to the newsletter.

Keep posted as any big news will be posted on the main website and forum, but the newsletter will be used by Admin as also a way of sharing the news with all forum members.

might be an idea to to a bulk switch on of this facility Dave and tell people that they can deactivate it if they don't want to receive any more. thoughts?

A newsletter is a very good idea, I got it yesterday and wondered where I could have clicked to apply for it ... ok now I know it, it was automatically enabled when I joined the forum

Yes, especially given the option to "unsubscribe" if for some reason we don't want the e-mails. As long as you don't flood us out with news updates it'll be useful if we haven't looked at the website/forum for a while.

Yes, I think it is, for me it's a nice way to stay informed even if I dont look on the website every day
