Re: A challenge.
Hmmm....tricky if not almost impossible task! Will get my thinking cap on though...Are you after popular/chart songs that everyone would have heard of or any song no matter how obscure?

Re: A challenge.
Any song but has to be in the right decade by release. Thats what has tripped me up.

Re: A challenge.
OK, it's almost impossible but I'll try to pick them out:
50s : Johnny Cash / I walk the line (1956)
60s : Bob Dylan / Like a rolling stone (1965)
70s : Pink Floyd / Shine on you crazy diamond (1975)
80s : Dire Straits / Telegraph road (1982)
90s(1): Runrig / Flower of the west (1991)
90s(2): BAP / Amerika (1996)
2000s : Coast / To the windward (2009)
Sorry that I picked up two songs of the 90s but I wanted to choose also a german song and on the other hand "Flower of the west" is my all time Runrig favourite...
I reviewed both music and lyrics.
As you can see I prefer the "epic" style of music
