any Mike Oldfield fans on this forum?

Are there any Mike Oldfield fans on this forum? I still like his music very much (except the Islands and Amorak cds which aren't my cup of tea ) and I can't wait to get his new album in March.
I first saw him in 1984 ( says all about my age ) and I have been a die hard fan since then. My favourite albums are Incantations and Songs of distant Earth but I also love his chill out stuff on Tres Lunas.

OOPS! Forgot to mention that I do like Mike Oldfield. Still have a 12 inch black vinyl single (remember them?) of Moonlight Shadow! My dad bought it for me. Honest!

Boyfriend and I still have our old Mike Oldfield vinyl records. I think it is time to watch the Tubular Bells III live at Horse Guards video again.

The Tubular Bells series are all superb. If it wasn't for his "Voyager" album I may never have gotten into folk music!

He does a fantastic version of the pipes tune "Flowers of the Forest" which is the tune that most pipers play on Remembrance Sunday. He ties it in with "The Mingulay Boat Song". The two melt into one lovely tune. I cant say I've really listened to any of his other stuff, apart from the moonlight shadow one.
