Re: Rock 4 life
Anyone else going to this, apart from those who have indicated on here that they are? It sure is tempting, what with Donnie playing too, but it's a long way and a lot of money from down here in the south......

Re: Rock 4 life
I would expect their set to be between 40/60mins.
Its usually only the top artist who plays their full set list at festivals.

Trousers - tell me about your plans for the journey - when are you going/coming back? Are you going to be there to see Donnie? Where/ are you staying overnight? Do you want a passenger?

That is just as well as Sunday has now been cancelled!
They're calling it 'A lack of Highland imagination', but I call it poor planning and management. Bruce Macgregor of original venue Bogbain Farm will be glad he no longer has anything to do with it!

Re: Rock 4 life
gutted and I started to look at ways of getting up there. I had an unexpected cash gift. This is exactly the thing that will get Coast where they should be. I reckon something will crop up soon.

Re: Rock 4 life
I am gutted for the band, myself and also the Highland Hospice who had reckoned on making over £200,000 for their funds this year!
Just over a weeks notice is pretty crap, and it will have a huge knock on effect on the bus companies, the local hotels and B&Bs and my weekend of freedom from the house!!!
This would have been a great stepping stone for COAST and would have really got them known up here.

Re: Rock 4 life
I garee with Linda - very disappointing for Coast and for teh Hospice, but alos the fact that no doubt lots of other people from fans, who've paid for flights etc and hotels, to local B&Bs /taxi firms/caterers will lose money on this. Lots of other bookings will have been turned down for this and stocks of food got in etc etc, all representing losses.
IT's been a shambles since they took it away from the originator of the plan, Bogbain Farm. A smaller-scale but well-planned event would have been better all round.
SO sorry, Coast!
