RUNRIG in Freiburg - 4th September 2010

Back from an amazing Runrig gig in Freiburg/Germany.
The band was in a good mood, the audience too and the sound was very good.
My highlight (difficult to choose one) was Nightfall on Marsco, all in all one of my best Runrig concerts ever.
The night closed after many beers in some pubs...

Seth Lakeman didn't play at this show, support act was Samuel Harfst.

One of the bestght of my life. If you like Runrig you have to see them in Germany and I would say Freiburg is the place to do it. Great town great people great buildings and great crowd. The place is buzzing it should be on the hen and stag agenda but thankfully its not.

The gig was amazing from the band to the fans. German fans really respect the band and no talking can be heard ever.

Meeting up with lionel Firth and matthias and Stefanie was superb.

Runrig are still the band and Germany is a must for any fan to see them in.

No animals were hurt during the making of this video but there were several human casualties.

C'était génial ! It was awesome ! What a fantastic gig it was.

And meeting all the Runrig fans that Tiz mentioned was something very special.

Walking back to the Youth Hostel was a nightmare though, 4 miles and I can't remember everything. Tiz told me that I wanted to sleep in a field where hay had just been cut. I can't remember that.
