Hope you enjoy it more than you enjoyed Scone. After that experience I'm not sure whether I'll ever bother going to another Runrig gig.

Davey you must give them another chance maybe the outside gigs just do not suit you.

Well i have seen them in Southampton before Davey and they were excellent,in fact everywhere i have seen them they have been good it was just Scone that i was so disappointed and we have already discussed the whys and wherefore's on that one

We also booked tickets for Southampton and we will go to the Coast gig on 11th December too.
So 1-3 guys of the atIslay clan will appear.

Got tickets for Newcastle/Gateshead.

Davey, I do understand how you feel. I had several years of buying their cd's but not going to any gigs (from about '93 for 5 years or so).

Looks like gateshead and barras for me. I cant do the southampton super weekend. Unless things change very quickly.

We will be a party of 8 coming to Southampton on this super weekend doing both Runrig and Coast.
Tickets and accomodation booked !!
It's me(Jutta), Silke, Britta, Andrea and her mother, Renate, Uwe and Swenja.

And there will be some more ( 8-10) people from the german scoteire forum coming as well for both gigs.

And from Denmark I know that Ursula, Winnie and Mogens will join.

So that will be a big party weekend !!!!!

You're quite right, they don't. But having said that, I'm altogether pretty disillusioned with Runrig at the moment. I didn't like Proterra all that much, I didn't like EYS at all, Scone was far and away the worst performance I've seen them give, and I don't really think that the band treats its fans very well. I do still love most of their back catalogue, but am coming to terms with the fact that maybe the "modern" Runrig just isn't for me.

Got the full day off work so should be in southampton mid afternoon, mind you its a long way off at the moment

We have now booked into a hotel for 2 nights so will be in southampton all day on the saturday and will be early in southampton on the friday.

I believe that this gig is now sold out
