There isn't time for a support act at Melrose unfortunately....Andrew could always come down as a spectator though....happy persuading..... ;-)

Some pretty impressive names on the Celtic music circuit there!
Looks good, but anyone know why they have Oor Willie on his bucket on the top?? I thought Gary Innes was their "poster boy!"

Re: Scottish Erosion Tour - Feb
Ok, ideas for meet up venue in Inverness (say 3pm onwards?)
I'd prefer a nice cozy real ale pub rather than one of the chains.
Any suggestions? I guess it needs to be a food place too...or close by at least
Cheers!

Re: Scottish Erosion Tour - Feb
I am thinking of going to see the battlefield at Culloden on the Saturday morning if anyone fancies it. The buses leave Queensgate at 20 to the hour and I was thinking of getting the 09:40 bus out.
There is an exhibition centre and coffee shop out there and I think there are guided exhibitions every hour.

The Blackfriars Inn in Inverness (lots of ins there!!) is a real ale pub and has a bit of atmosphere!! I don't like the Weatherspoons pub, it's big and spacious and has cheap drink but is also the place for the youth of the City to get tanked up before hitting the nightclubs!!

I suspect that Stefanie plans a shopping tour in the morning therefore I'd prefer a pub with armchairs to relax...
