You did so well to even get the chance to have a shot at it. I am sure it was an experience you will not forget.

I am sorry that the end result was not what you and the rest of us wanted, but you gave it your best shot. I am pretty sure that the judges had a fair bit of arguing over whether or not to let you through.

Like everyone I'm gutted that they didn't make the final list, but they gave it a good shot and should be proud of their efforts.
This is not the end of the world but the start of a good career and you will always get set backs esp in this day and age.
And who is to say that that guys will not be there at CC11 anyway if things go well this year.

The main thing now is the guys but the rehearsal time into getting ready for the winter erosion tour as this is where the hard and exciting times start.

I swapped emails with 'someone in the know' yesterday and they said Celtic Connections tended not to put through acts who they feel will 'make it' without needing the extra publicity of being a CC DKOS finalist. So, it's a backhanded compliment to COAST that they didn't get into the final 6 I would venture
